Now all we need is the baby! :)

These shelves will hold clothes and toys for the baby. Now, it has a few books and some frames. Grandma S. sent a cross-stitched Bible verse as a Valentine for the baby. It's sitting on top of the shelves.

Amy and the monkey are welcoming you to the jungle!

Matt put together this comfy glider/ottoman. Thanks for your generous gift, Grandpa and Grandma W.! We're sure we'll spend many hours rocking baby from this spot!

Girls' Weekend

"Aunt Amy" flew out from Montana on Thursday to spend a girls' weekend with Kim. Kim was ecstatic to have time with her sister! On Friday, Kim took a day off school. The girls got pedicures at a local nail salon.

Cute toes! :)

Amy helped to think through the decorations in the nursery and even wielded a hammer in the process. Kim appreciated her artistic eye and creative touch.

Kim and Amy worked together to apply a Bible verse to the wall of the nursery. This baby truly IS a gift from our God!

The girls and Matt went to Kim's school's dinner auction on Friday night. We got all dressed up for the fancy event. Everyone loved meeting Amy!

Hello, third trimester!

The books say that my uterus should be the size of a basketball in week #27. I think I'm right on target!

Yay! We finished putting up the jungle/safari animal border ... with only slight frustration! We're all smiles now since the room looks great!

Matt's 30th birthday SURPRISE

On Friday, 2/6 Kim invited our closest friends from Texas (from church and Matt's school) to celebrate Matt's 30th birthday. We were able to keep it a complete surprise from Matt! He came home from work to a celebration!

We ate dinner together (spaghetti, salad, and French bread) and then had ice cream cake!

Finally, we went to the ComedySportz improv club in Houston. They saved our group seats in the first three rows.

The ComedySportz ref involved Matt in one of the events. We laughed a lot and enjoyed ourselves immensely! Happy birthday, Matt!
