Week 12!

We saw our doctor for the second time on Thursday. The most exciting part was hearing our baby's heartbeat again! The doctor used a "doppler device" to magnify the sound -- which was a lot like a fast washing machine. :) We kept up our tradition by celebrating with custard after the doctor's appointment. (Culver's is right next door!)

Kim is still able to wear all of her normal clothes and doesn't look too different (at least from the front). In profile, however, you can see the start of a "baby bump."

There's nothing like hearing that heartbeat and the reassurance that everything is ok! Glad you're taking those belly pictures! I took one at the beginning of each month and put them in a scap book. It is now amazing to look back (even just two weeks after giving birth!) and see how I grew and how big I actually got! :)

Yay for a good appointment! Cute baby bump- isn't that nice to start to see? Are your clothes getting tighter? I would highly recommend a bella band for when your pants start to feel tight. You wear it over your pants and leave your pants unbuttoned. I got mine (a generic version) at Motherhood Maternity.
