Ian is 4 months old tomorrow (9-7-09). One new thing Ian can do is reach out for and grab objects in front of him. The dangling purple star was the latest "victim" of Ian's inquisitive reach.
Ian LOVES chewing on hands. Here, Ian is attempting to stuff his entire fist into his mouth. His gag reflex has been put to the test a few times in the last week or so as he learns his limits.
Ian's new gold medal performance for consecutive sleep time is 11 hours and 40 minutes (last night). As you can see, Ian was in a really good mood this morning as Mommy and Daddy got ready for church. Ian is either smiling because he got so much sleep or because he was allowed to rest in Mommy and Daddy's bed for a few minutes--your guess is as good as ours.

The 4-month lifting of the head for tummy time. Ian is no where near crawling yet, but this picture shows that he is training his body for crawling when the time is right.
