More Bluebonnets!

Of course, we just HAD to take our annual pictures of the boys in our beautiful Texas bluebonnets. :) We headed up to Creekside Park at the end of March -- just a day or two after the ropes protecting the field came down for photographers. We went just at sunset on a night when there were many, many other families with the same idea. :)
Ian was very cooperative, likely in large part because we promised some time at the playground after we had gotten some good pictures.

Ryan, on the other hand, did NOT want to sit still, let alone smile unless he was holding our crazy-looking cat stuffed animal.

We saw another family getting some cute pictures of their kids running through the flowers. That MIGHT have worked if Ryan wanted to look at the camera while running. :)

Then, we asked a nice couple near us to borrow their wooden stool. This helped Ryan willingly sit down for at least short periods of time. We'll definitely remember to bring a stool to future photo shoots, though likely Ryan will be much more cooperative even next year!

We got some cute pictures, made some good memories, and had a fabulous time playing on the park playground afterwards. The tradition will definitely continue ... :)
