Ian and Kim joined Matt at Concordia's homecoming football game last Friday. Before the game started, we explored the football stadium. Ian's favorite part was touching the neighbor's horses through the chain link fence. He kept saying, "Neigh! Neigh!" (watch video below)

During the football game, Ms. Elisabeth invited us to sit by the band ... and even let Ian play in the water cooler filled with ice. This was a HUGE hit!
Last week, Kim got out some of our fall decorations. Ian immediately fell in love with the scarecrows!! He especially likes the girl one and will often hug and kiss it and say, "Hi, care-koh."
Ian still loves his push toys. In addition to pushing them around, he likes to climb and sit on them. He still can't make them "go" while sitting down, but that might be coming soon (?) :)
Momma found some fake food for sale at a garage sale last weekend. Here, Ian is carrying the waffles around. Other favorites are the corn on the cob, the orange, and the lettuce.
Ian is obsessed with markers, pencils, and "mens" (pens). He has recently learned to take marker caps off and on ... and is in the process of learning (and re-learning) that paper is the ONLY surface that he should write on. :)
He was very focused on his drawing! (And, yes, he does have a fat lip ... a VERY sad, close encounter with our driveway.)
Ian's artwork
Ian loves to read (especially these mini books) ... with others or by himself!
The "V and W" devotion is Ian's favorite.
