Kim turns 36

I was definitely spoiled on my birthday! The night before my birthday, Jon and Chelsea brought over pizza and cake for dinner! What a treat to have yummy food and to spend time with family.

Chelsea held Nathan while we adults played a fun game of Stone Age. It's been so long ago, I can't even remember who won, but we had a great time. :)
Jon did all of the diaper changes for the evening ... :)
On the morning of my birthday, my four wonderful guys woke me up with some lovingly-chosen presents.
Ian had chosen some fruity candy canes,
while Ryan chose some chocolate candy bells for me. Both boys immediately wanted to sample their special gifts.
Matt gave me a gift certificate for a massage at Massage Envy, which I can't wait to use! :) After we were all ready for the day, we headed out to play mini golf as a family. It was a chilly (for Texas :)) day, but Nathan stayed cozy in the Moby Wrap.
The big boys had a great time trying to get their balls into the holes,
though Ryan found it much easier to use his hands than his golf club.

I even got a hole in one.
Matt put up a good fight, but I ended up winning by a stroke or two. Apparently, being six weeks older can be to my advantage. :)
After mini golf, the little boys convinced me that one of the best ways to celebrate my birthday would be in a go-kart. Ian and Daddy went for a spin first,
and then Ryan and I headed out. I think it was to our advantage that it was a cold, damp day (so they weren't crowded at all), as I'm pretty sure Ryan wasn't anywhere near the required height for being a passenger. But he certainly did have a great time!
We went to Sweet Tomatoes for a delicious lunch. Then, I was able to talk to lots of family members on the phone, relax with my own family members, and enjoy a Baskin Robbins ice cream cake for dessert after dinner.
Talk about a great day! :)

You always make me laugh with your "chilly" Texas days! I'm glad you had such a wonderful birthday! How's Nathan sleeping now?

That definitely says something that you were able to win at mini-golf with a child wrapped to you! Imagine how much you would've smoked Matt without Nathan in the Moby! :) I love how the boys wanted to sample their sweet gifts to you.
