We were able to make our annual trip to the Houston Livestock Show over spring break! It has been fun to see Ian enjoy the show progressively more each year.
A highlight was feeding the animals in the petting zoo. Ian was a little annoyed by how pushy the goats were, and he kept trying to find the smallest and most docile ones to feed.
The sheep were relatively cooperative, as were the sheep.
Ryan was (at least slightly) interested in petting a goat!
Daddy taught Ian a little bit about bees.
We got to pet some bunnies as well as see some fancy-looking rabbits on display.
Two of Ian's favorite parts, though, were seeing the baby chicks ...
... and "working" on the farm to earn some "money" to buy a Rice Krispie treat.
So far, we haven't stayed with Ian for the actual rodeo part of the event ... maybe in the next couple of years we'll try that, too! :)
